Aerial and Ground Photographs of British Airfields

Moreton-in-Marsh

A selection of aerial shots of Moreton-in-Marsh, taken by me in June 1998 from a PA28 flown by Gary Cook. The airfield is now used as the main training establishment for firemen in the UK. To help with that the place is littered with test buildings, vehicles and even aircraft, all of which are used during training for various scenarios. Note the underlined X markings at each runway threshold, indicating that you really, really do not want to land on them due to the multiple obstructions!
