RAF Mildenhall Air Fete 97 - Saturday 24th May 1997
What an astounding show this was. One of the best airshows I have
ever been to! The USAF flew excellent displays including a B-2A
and a rare appearance by the Thunderbirds. The foreign
participation was brilliant too, with top displays from the Swedish
Viggen and French Mirage 2000 in particular.
The only problem with the Air Fete is that the crowdline is North of the
display axis meaning that photography is always into the sun. Below is a
selection of my shots taken on the Saturday. These images are "thumbnail" images. Click on
